Olen Frederick Lampe

	Olen Frederick Lampe, 72, of Campbell Hill, passed away at 6:05 a.m. Sunday, June 4, 2000 at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro.
	Mr. Lampe retired as a State Policeman after 30 years in April 1985.  He was an Army veteran, serving from 1946 to 1948.  He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill.
	He was born Wednesday, February 22, 1928 at Campbell Hill, the son of Fred W. and Lillie (Knop) Lampe.  He married Marjorie M. Hartel on June 11, 1950 at Peace Lutheran Church in Steeleville.
	He is survived by his wife, Marjorie M. Lampe of Campbell Hill; one son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Mary Lampe of Campbell Hill; granddaughters, Brittany Ann and Joy Brianna; one brother, Marvin Lampe of Campbell Hill; one sister, Frances Bollmann of Campbell Hill; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Schuette of Taylorville and Lydia Hartel of Steeleville.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Frederick; one niece, Carla Lampe, one half-brother, Albert Schuette and one brother-in-law, Floyd Hartel.
	Funeral services were Tuesday, June 6 at 11 a.m. at Wilsons Funeral Home in Campbell Hill with Rev. Gregory J. Schultz officiating.  Interment was in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery in Campbell Hill.
	Visitation was after 5:30 p.m. Monday and on Tuesday from 7:30 a.m. until time of service at Wilsons Funeral Home.
	Memorials may be made to St. Peter Cemetery Fund or St. Peter Building Fund.
